Lesson 293
All fear is past and only love is here.
“Father, let not Your holy world escape my sight today. Nor let my ears be deaf to all the hymns of gratitude the world is singing underneath the sounds of ear. There is a real world which the present holds safe from all past mistakes. And I would see only this world before my eyes today” (ACIM Lesson 293 2:1-4).
“All fear is past, because its source is gone” (ACIM Lesson 293 1:1). The insane mind that used to create what we thought to be the real world, is that source. Thus, all fear and thoughts of sin are of the past. The miracle has come; we have shifted from being the source of madness to connecting to the Real Source. We turn within and commune with the One Source of the Real World, the Godhead.
Looking out from within, we see that only Love can be present in this state of awareness. We abide in the holy Presence that speaks to us always of what is Real. Truth is no longer hidden by fear or the need to forgive. We unite with what is here and now, which is only Love.
