A Course in Miracles: Lesson 268

Lesson 268

Let all things be exactly as they are.

“Let me not be Your critic, Lord, today, and judge against You.  Let me not attempt to interfere with Your creation, and distort it into sickly forms.  Let me be willing to withdraw my wishes from its unity, and thus to let it be as You created it.  For thus will I be able, too, to recognize my Self as You created me.  In Love was I created, and in Love will I remain forever.  What can frighten me, when I let all things be exactly as they are?” (ACIM Lesson 268 1:1-6).

This is the ultimate statement, “Let all things be exactly as they are.”  As these words whisper for our lips and hearts, we recognize that with them, comes a sweet, sweet release.  We let go and let God.  We trust in the perfection of all and the perfection in which we were created.  These words are the sign of true spiritual maturity.  However, they are not words just said, but words felt and experienced.  It is not a phrase to be memorized but a phrase to be remembered.  Imagine for a moment that these words are a cozy bed, could you open up your arms, take a leap, and jump right in?

Allow today be exactly as it is.  Allow you, and your fellow brothers and sisters, to be exactly as you are.  Allow the world to be not other than what it is.  Because what it is, is perfect, complete and utter perfection.  Do you see the thread?  Nothing at all is asking for your judgment or your opinion.  Everything is only asking for your love.

Namaste.
