Lesson 235
God in His mercy wills that I be saved.
“Father, Your holiness is mine. Your Love created me, and made my sinlessness forever part of You. I have no guilt nor sin in me, for there is none in You.”
(ACIM Lesson 235 2:1-3)
Today’s lesson calls to truly SEE the world around us. If we look upon our world with the eyes of Christ, we will see that there is nothing here to harm us, only help us. The means may look a bit peculiar but the purpose is divine. And as we looked upon the world, we can know with perfect peace that God Wills our happiness. She does not want us to suffer.
If God does not desire that we suffer, than who does? Really think about this question. If the person before you is a Child of God as well, then does anyone outside of you want you to suffer? Thus, the finger turns around and points back to the maker of the miracles. You have come here to exercise your choice to no longer live a life unlike love. You have played out all sorts of scenarios to come to this final one, the awakening, the grand finale. There is no journey more exciting and magnificent than God realizing She is God.
Suffering is not a prerequisite on this journey, it is a choice. On the other hand, love and forgiveness, are compulsory. Why not let go of any baggage and flow in the holy waters, leaving anything like suffering by the shore? This natural flow of your Truth will carry you Home and God Wills for it to be a fun ride.
“I need but look upon all things that seem to hurt me, and with perfect certainty assure myself, “God wills that I be saved from this,” and merely watch them disappear. I need but keep in mind my Father’s Will for me is only happiness, to find that only happiness has come to me” (ACIM Lesson 235 1:1-2).
God Wills that your truth be shown to you. It only requires that you step aside from any judgements you have of others and yourself, to see that only Love surrounds you. Witness the Love that you are created to BE. And in that is the holy answer, just BE. Namaste.
