Lesson 229
Love, Which created me, is what I am.
“Father, my thanks to You for what I am; for keeping my Identity untouched and sinless, in the midst of all the thoughts of sin my foolish mind made up. And thanks to You for saving me from them. Amen”
(ACIM Lesson 229 2:1-3).
We let go of what the world would tell us to be and what we thought we should be. We even let go of what we hoped we would be, as that, too, could not compare to our true Identity. We are created in Love, as Love. Regardless what we have done to believe otherwise, the Truth of what we are is unchanged. Are you not grateful this is so?
What you have been seeking outside of yourself has been within You all along. And, even more so, you have already been that which you have been seeking. Today, we give thanks for this gift. Our Creator has wholly protected our Identity when we have chosen to dream otherwise. We come in silence today, claim our Identity, and give thanks to the One who created us and held us perfectly in Love’s image. Namaste.
