A Course in Miracles: Lesson 225

Lesson 225

God is my Father, and His Son loves Him.

In the flow of giving and receiving, as we are loved, we, too, extend that love.  It comes in the opportunity in the forms that take shape around us, as it should, because those we encounter are all extensions of God.  In other words, we extend the love given to us by our Father Mother God as we greet God known as Sue, God known as the rock in front of you, God known as the political candidate on TV, God known as You, and God known as Me.  We love our Creator by loving one another.  We are one.  We are the same, although unique in our journeys.

“We are one, and it is but this oneness that we seek, as we accomplish these few final steps which end a journey that was not begun” (ACIM Lesson 225 2:5).

Oneness does not come from sitting our homes, while basking in our routines, loving God from afar.  Oneness comes and shows its beautiful light with our participation in the Heaven that exists around us.  We come to stillness to be with our Comforter, however that same stillness is available as we move about our day and engage with others.  The stillness in movement is our opportunity to share without words and to recognize the “God known as ______,” in front of us.

Once more, it is not a journey that truly ever took place but was remembered.  It is the holy instant.  Come today to abide in the flow of giving and receiving, as the love that is given you pours forth as a gift to humanity.  Namaste.
