Lesson 111
Review III: Introduction
We now embark on Review III, which is designed to be a time for further integration and commitment to our Walk in Miracles. We are given the next ten days to focus on two lessons per day in order to continue correcting the mind. Since our last review, we have deepened our learning in miracles as a function of the light, our light as a function of salvation, God’s Will for our happiness, and our likeness with our Created, as we are as God created us. Through our lessons we have exercised our knowing and trust of the One Voice that lies within and explored how to commune with Her.
We have been planting fruitful seeds in the mind through the words of the Course. The mind, that once used to be our master, is now coming to her rightful place as servant to the Will of God. This may be tough to understand this switch in roles has occurred but that is what our review will help us experience. We will trust the seeds we have planted and now begin to cultivate them as they blossom forth in the likeness in which they were created.
“Offer [the thoughts you gave] to your mind in that same trust and confidence. It will not fail. It is the Holy Spirit’s chosen means for your salvation. Since it has His trust, He means you must surely merit yours as well” (ACIM Review III 7:2-4).
A rigorous practice schedule is offered to us in that we have a morning and evening review, in addition to statements to review at the top and bottom of the hour. Your adherence is necessary but not out of ritualistic guilt. Come to the review periods with the desire to truly see. If you miss a practice opportunity, merely notice why it was missed and start the review from there. This is a wonderful time to see what distractions are being placed between you and your choice for God. Where are you choosing for something other than God? I know it is our desire to make the One Choice but we must be very honest about the times we choose something other than that. Remember, we have done nothing wrong, nor can do anything wrong. This is merely an opportunity to see where we are preventing ourselves from living our function as savior. There is no guilt, just awareness.
Since we are given the opportunity to recall the reviewed lessons numerous times throughout the day, this is the perfect time to integrate. With the Course as our guide, we can begin to apply each lesson throughout its specified half hour, not just for the moment at the top and bottom of the hour. Thus, do we step out of the ritual of the review and into the classroom of practice.
“These practice periods are planned to help you form the habit of applying what you learn each day to everything you do. Do not repeat the thought and lay it down. Its usefulness is limitless to you. And it is meant to serve you in all ways, all times, and places, and whenever you need help of any kind. Try, then, to take it with you in the business of the day and make it holy, worth of God’s Son, acceptable to God and to your Self” (ACIM Lesson 11:2-6).
The concept of integration is one we have touched upon in Review I & II, yet today we step even further into experiencing that there is no means in which our lessons cannot be useful, as they are boundless in their teachings. Thus, can we see that, like the presence of God, there is nowhere an opportunity to awaken does not lie? Can we see that all around us are signs that say, “Are you ready to choose Love now?” This aligns perfectly with how we have explored the reviews together.
Per our other reviews, I will continue to share in what I have witnessed to be the eternal conversation of remembrance. In my journey, as my heart started to open to the words of God, I started to see Her energy conversing with me through various animate and inanimate objects, proving nothing is off-limits to the Holy Spirit when used for the good of higher consciousness. In my amazement at the perfection of this conversation, I started to take photos, when possible, of the boundless means in which God would get my attention. These are what I share with you during our time of integration.
May these pictures and words in the review inspire you to notice in what ways Source is trying to get your attention. May you see that the call for integration is happening in each breath. We each have varied experiences with the One Love. How is She using your classroom of life to teach you the remembrance? Engage with her everywhere and in all ways, albeit through other people, pictures, decals, t-shirts, music, art, etc. There is nowhere the conversation is not happening. Notice how it is occurring for you.
I honor your dedication to our walk together. You are the Miracle Maker that makes all the difference. Godspeed as you tip the scales in your Ultimate Awakening. In doing so, you will only be met by more guidance, support, and knowing. Remember, we never lose anything, only gain. Let Review III be your confirmation that this is so.
