Lesson 238
On my decision all salvation rests.
“Father, Your trust in me has been so great, I must be worthy. You created me, and know me as I am. And yet You placed Your Son’s salvation in my hands, and let it rest on my decision. I must be beloved of You indeed. And I must be steadfast in holiness as well, that You would give Your Son to me in certainty that he is safe Who still is part of You, and yet it is mine, because He is my Self” (ACIM Lesson 238 1:1-5).
We await nothing but our decision for salvation. We are so trusted that our Creator has already given us the key and allows us the space and time to make the final choice for Love. God knows She cannot convince us of who we are, but She can hand us the mirror and say, “You are free to take a look and see how bright you are. See how you look like Me.”
We hold the mirror of our perfect reflection. All we must do is look towards the mirror with our holy gaze. It is not dependent on our circumstances, the world around us, anyone’s opinion of us, or the journey leading up to this point. We merely enter the holy instant with our vision.
We must boldly SEE ourselves, first. We must SEE ourselves as God sees Us. That is the experience of salvation that saves all of humanity. As you dare to see your Light, you entice others to do the same. As you courageously walk your path in miracles, you also light the steps for others. And it all transpires just by your BEING, as you witness your holy reflection.
You must SEE You. See your Self as God sees You. God has given you the crown of crowns, will you not wear it?
I SEE You, but if you do not SEE yourself, you will not believe in the magnificence that I SEE. Do not take my word for it or the world’s but experience your holiness for your self. Experience your decision for salvation. Be present with what it can teach you about your Truth and Holiness.
Today, take time to SEE the Love that is in You. Perhaps even gaze into your mirror a few times, to SEE the Love you wear, the Love you are, and to SEE how your image resembles that of God. You are worthy of this vision and this holy sight. This Light is yours to claim. This is your decision for salvation. Namaste.
