Lesson 245
Your peace is with me, Father. I am safe.
“Your peace surrounds me, Father. Where I go, Your peace goes there with me. It sheds its light on everyone I meet. I bring it to the desolate and lonely and afraid. I give Your peace to those who suffer pain, or grieve for loss, or think they are bereft of hope and happiness. Send them to me, my Father. Let me bring Your peace with me. For I would save Your Son, as is Your Will, that I may come to recognize my Self” (ACIM Lesson 245 1:1-8).
The power of our presence is spoken in our lesson today. By being in the world, we transform the world. The words are given to us, our actions are alit with Her grace, and the message of peace is clear.
The misery and suffering we see in the world, we help overcome by our heavenly existence. The manner in which our presence moves forth can take many different forms or none at all. We can sit silently with another who is in pain. We can give nourishment to someone who is at a point of deep suffering. Or the words of our Comforter can pour through us to another of our safety, love, and peace. Yet, our guiding principle is the same, there need be no effort, only the allowance of the holy flow.
As we know of our peace and safety, we experience that we are enough and have all that we require within us extend our experience to those who are in need. Our Father-Mother God has guided our steps and is guiding others to us for us to remind them of what they already know. We teach to others, by our example, showing them the way in which we have traveled to peace, by gifting serenity to our fellow brothers and sisters, as we have ourselves.
Peace and safety are yours to extend freely. You will know how and when because it just happens. Your True Nature is that easy to pour forth, extend, and transcend. Namaste.
