A Course in Miracles: Lesson 250

Lesson 250

Let me not see myself as limited.

“He is Your Son, my Father.  And today I would behold his gentleness instead of my illusions.  He is what I am, and as I see him so I see myself.  Today I would see truly, that this day I may at last identify with him” (ACIM Lesson 250 2:1-4).

We are powerful beyond measure.  We are even greater than our own concept of what we recognize as “great.”  Our magnificence is beyond any human or worldly concept that we know.  It is beyond our small imagination yet more guaranteed than our next breath.  And it is so close that even the thought of it is too far away, for in the last few lessons we have been discussing that we need travel nowhere in the world to touch upon our holiness.  Today, we will see that it is so.

It is a choice away, do you want to play small or bigger than you can imagine?  Richard Bach once said, “Argue for your limitations, and sure enough they’re yours.”  Do you want to continue to fight for your limitations or are you ready to claim your place in the Queendom?  God already sees you as Her perfect Daughter, sinless and pure.  Thus, as today’s statement implies, the only one you are waiting for to see you as unlimited, is yourself.

You are the one you have been waiting for.  If you ever question how powerful you are, just reflect on the ability you had to trick yourself into believing you are separate from God.  You are so masterful that you somehow maneuvered into thinking you are not God.  You are so unlimited that you created the biggest rouse of all, God pretending She isn’t God.  Thus, do you not have the limitless power to engage with the Truth, which takes no effort at all?

I see the Light in You and I know You shall see it too.  If you are reading these words, you are truly ready to put down the game and all its efforts, to then pick up your natural state of unlimited holiness.  Throughout your Walk in Miracles today, witness the infinite godliness that lies within you.  Look in the mirror and see your magnificence.  Gaze into the eyes of your brothers and sisters and see the Light that is Your reflection.  Use your boundless nature to remember and, no longer, to forget.  Namaste.
