Lesson 297
Forgiveness is the only gift I give.
“Father, how certain are Your ways; how sure their final outcome, and how faithfully is every step in my salvation set already, and accomplished by Your grace. Thanks be to You for Your eternal gifts, and thanks to You for my Identity” (ACIM Lesson 297 2:1-2).
We can only give from what we already have, what we know, and what we have experienced. Forgiveness is already ours, given us by our Mother God, as we were created in Her likeness. Recall, “My forgiveness is my function as the light of the world” (ACIM Lesson 62). We need only remember the gift we have received as we were birthed from the womb of the cosmos. We were born into the Crown Realm and there we continue to be, extending forgiveness throughout the world by the light of our presence because we have already embraced our own salvation.
A crown of Light encircles our bodies and shines as a beacon of forgiveness to the world. It extends a hand to our brothers and sisters and says, “Walk the Way with me. I know Who You Are because I know Who I Am.” And this is your gift: your example, your steps, and the presence of your entire being. Through your walk with forgiveness, by releasing any contrasting beliefs you created, you have already gifted others. Do you see, You are what matters most? There is nothing that need be placed before You on your journey. You wait on no-thing and no-one. You are the One.
Thus, the world does not need saving or fixing, as neither do you, it just needs your awakened presence and your love. It awaits your example. Recall your birth with each divine breath as you allow your crown of Light to be shown and known. You are already forgiven, your life reflects this is so, and this gift is what you give unto the world. Namaste.
