Lesson 308
This instant is the only time there is.
“Thanks for this instant, Father. It is now I am redeemed. This instant is the time You have appointed for Your Son’s release, and for salvation of the world in him” (ACIM Lesson 308 2:1-3).
As the Beatles said, “All We Need Is Love.” That is all we need. That is all the heart truly desires. And as we have experienced in our walk together, we are not waiting for a Love outside ourselves or waiting for the outer world to change. Love is here and now.
In an instant, in the presence of this present moment, we are free from our past and future, returning back to our original state: limitless, boundless, ecstatic, and pure unadulterated Love. We are what we have been searching for. God seeking God, is no longer seeking at all, when this very instant is Realized.
“The only interval in which I can be saved from time is now. For in this instant has forgiveness come to set me free. The birth of Christ is now, without a past or future. He has come to give His present blessing to the world, restoring it to timelessness and love. And love is ever-present, here and now” (ACIM Lesson 308 1:4-8).
Today, sing the words of the Beatles and just repeat, “Love, love, love…” It is here, now, and for always and in all ways. In this instant do you discover what you already are and all that there is, Love. Namaste.
