Lesson 319
I came for the salvation of the world.
“Father, Your Will is total. And the goal which stems from it shares it totality. What aim but the salvation of the world could You have given me? And what but this could be the Will my Self has shared with You?” (ACIM Lesson 319 2:1-3)
Doesn’t it feel good when you do not have to compare yourself with another? Doesn’t it feel liberating when all reasons for judgment has cleared your conscious mind? As we have been focusing on releasing judgments, have you noticed that you have created more space for God to inhabit? Perhaps, you have noticed you have increase in energy and an increase of compassion and patience for the world around you, as condemning thoughts can be oh-so draining and depleting.
God is not going to fight the ego for space in your awareness. She has no need to do so because She already abides in You. She is just waiting for your complete attention. She is waiting for more space to abide with you. With a mind full of judgments or arrogant comparisons, where is the space for Love? Thus, is today about creating what a friend of mine calls, Spacious Presence. Take for example a home of someone who hordes things, where is there space to add or put anything? There isn’t. Thus, have we been clearing our minds of judgments in order to leave space for Truth to flow in. We do not decorate the space we have created but rather we let Love take care of the rest and just abide in the presence of Presence.
“But when there is no arrogance the truth will come immediately, and fill up the space the ego left unoccupied by lies” (ACIM Lesson 319 1:3)
When one comes back to the Real purpose of being, her role as Savior of the world, one realizes we are all on the same team. No one is better than another. No one has more than another. And no one is in jeopardy of loosing something to another. There is nothing we need to protect, only everything to give.
“And yet it is the Will of God I learn that what one gains is given unto all” (ACIM Lesson 319 1:6).
In God’s Eye’s, Will, and Love, we are all equal. We are all Her precious children and absolutely perfect. In living the Truth of Identity, we need not judge another or ourselves. And without such condemning thoughts we have more space, more energy, and more time for God. Are you ready to clear more “judge-free” space? Go for it! Namaste.
