Lesson 334
Today I claim the gifts forgiveness gives.
“I seek but the eternal. For Your Son can be content with nothing less than this. What, then, can be his solace but what You are offering to his bewildered mind and frightened heart, to give him certainty and bring him peace? Today I would behold my brother sinless. This Your Will for me, for so will I behold my sinlessness” (ACIM Lesson 334 2:1-5).
In releasing conflict and the ego’s control we lose nothing and gain everything. We could never be in lack, as it is our birthright to gain the eternal gifts that God bestows upon all Her Children. However, in order to receive such gifts our desire for them must be greater than what we believe we gain from illusions, for such a choice invites God to move through us and allows God to shower us with Her eternal promise.
In each moment, God speaks of the peace She offers and the rest She gives to the weary traveler who has been seeking Her in illusions. We listen as she says, “Come. Come. I offer more than what you see. I offer eternal blessings of peace and tranquility.” The ego is tempted but is hesitant to give up control for the ego thinks it knows best. Yet the ego was not created to be the master, it was created to serve under the loving direction of God’s Will. In following the Voice of God and claiming our gifts, we become masters of our mind and stand in the certainty that all is forgiven, now open to receive the blessings of our inheritance.
“God’s Voice is offering the peace of God to all who hear and choose to follow Him. This is my choice today. And so I go to find the treasures God has given me” (ACIM Lesson 334 1:4-6)
There is no need to wait another day, not even another moment, for what is yours right now. Observe the mind today and distinctly decipher those moment where you can release more and more into God’s Will. Where can you choose to Love more? Where can you choose peace and forgiveness? Tenderly love all moments throughout the day, as you allow the Light to shine on all aspects of the mind. The moment is waiting for Your Love and nothing else. It is time to show up and meet God there…here….now…to accept the gifts She gives. Namaste.
