A Course in Miracles: Lesson 349

Lesson 349

Today I let Christ’s vision look upon all things for me and judge them not,

but give each one a miracle of love instead.

“So I would liberate all things I see, and give to them the freedom that I seek.  For thus do I obey the law of love, and give what I would find and make my own.  It will be given me, because I have chosen it as the gift I want to give.  Father, Your gifts are mine.  Each one that I accept gives me a miracle to give.  And giving as I would receive, I learn Your healing miracles belong to me” (ACIM Lesson 349 1:1-6).

What would you like to be gifted in life?  What is it you would really like more of?…Then begin to give that to the world.  If it is freedom you desire, gift freedom to all those around you.  If you desire more love, give love freely to whomever you meet.  You do not have to wait on someone to bring you what you want or wait for God to give it to you (which most likely She already has), instead you begin by giving it to yourself through the means of gifting it to others.  The law of love flows like the symbol for infinity, which is just like the law of giving and receiving, two connecting loops where extension and collection are one and the same.  Neither one having an ending or beginning but a constant current of the Divine in motion.

“Our Father knows our needs.  He gives us grace to meet them all.  And so we trust in Him to send us miracles to bless the world, and heal our minds as we return to Him” (ACIM Lesson 349 2:1-3).

God gives you everything you need by gifting you the energy to give it to others.  Trust the flow that moves through you.  Trust that what you extend will come back to you ten-fold.  Let go of any notion of reciprocation or judging, contemplating if another is deserving of what you have to give.  The law of giving and receiving is not a “tit for tat” theory of sacrifices made.  Who you give love to, for example, may not be who returns it to you.  And that is where the miracle lies, as perhaps who you give love to is the one who needs love in that moment, and then in the next, someone else will give it back to you, someone who you didn’t even expect.  Miracle!  This is where we can trust in the holy sight and let go of the earthly notion that to whom we give we must, in return, receive.

Today, notice the flow of miracles all around you.  Look beyond your routine and those whom you generally acquaint yourself with.  The law of giving and receiving is constantly embracing you, as you are an integral part of its infinite flow.  You are the center of the two circles that make up the infinity symbol.  You are the center point where all miracles begin and end. Trust in that.  Be That.  Namaste.
