A Course in Miracles: Lesson 37

Lesson 37

My holiness blesses the world.

We carry on from yesterday. If my holiness envelops the world I see thus my holiness is showered upon the world. A gentle shower of holiness creating a fountain of blessings on all that I see. The extension of today’s statement is a glimpse into this powerful energy of blessing and our purpose.

There are no specific words needed and no action. Our purpose is certain and done. There is no higher calling than claiming the holiness that we are as we bless the world around us.

“Your purpose is to see the world through your own holiness. Thus are you and the world blessed together. No one loses; nothing is taken away from anyone; everyone gains through your holy vision (ACIM Lesson 37 1:2-4).”

Mother Teresa of Calcutta worked diligently in her ministry to help those in need. Yet, it was her presence that was so healing. She performed miracles from recognizing her holiness, her wholeness. The world did not take from Mother Teresa, the world only received the awakening of what we each had inside of us already, holiness and wholeness.

There are many who have been in the presence of the Dalai Lama or the Pope and have felt the same sort of blessings of holiness. No one is touched, no ceremony performed; there is just this energetic extension of holiness by being in the presence of someone who claims his or her holiness. They are our remembrance.

Our vision has become even clearer as we recognize our holiness blessing everything we see, in our inner and outer world. There is an energy of Oneness in our practice periods today, the communion of Oneness we all share in.

I open my eyes and I see a rose. My holiness blesses the rose but the holiness of the rose also blesses me. It is this circular, feminine energy of blessing, where there is no depletion or sacrificing, only this unending giving and receiving of what everything IS, holy.

I close my eyes and I see an image of the past, my holiness blesses the past. My holiness blesses what I recall a sad situation. In my holiness I see the perfection of the past. My holiness has comforted me throughout my tapestry of life. My holiness maintains my perfection even without my awareness. My holiness blesses then, now, and what is yet to come. My birthright of holiness assures that I live no random existence and that I am continually taking part in the salvation of the world. Once more, even when I am not aware this is so.

My holiness is like this Divine odor that emanates from me, infusing the world, and returned only more rich and alluring with the communion of holiness with that it touches in the world. We encircle our holiness and our whol-e-ness. What was born whole and holy shall remain whole and holy. We are all part of the cyclical energy of holiness and blessings.

“Your holiness is the salvation of the world. It lets you teach you the world that it is one with you, not by preaching to it, not by telling it anything, but merely by your quiet recognition that in your holiness are all things blessed along with you (ACIM Lesson 37 3:1-2).”

The energy of today’s statement is a pouring fountain of blessings reminding us that we need nothing, lack nothing, and are missing nothing. We are each part of this Mother Teresa-like energy. We are our own unique Mother Teresa blessing the world we see. Merely with just our presence. It is that simple.

“Those who see themselves as whole make no demands (ACIM Lesson 37 2:7).”

We are the Miracle Makers and Sustainers of Holiness.

Namaste.
